Leadership Training Day
Fall 2021
What is LTD?Leadership Training Day (LTD) is a mandatory bi-annual instruction and preparation mini-conference for all members in RHA. In the fall, incoming members are taught the ins and outs of their positions, as well as bond with their council and attend educational sessions to strengthen their leadership skills. In the spring, LTD is focused around reflecting on the past semester, setting improvement goals, and educational sessions. This year, for the first time in RHA history, LTD will be a hybrid of virtual and in-person instruction.
In order to navigate throughout the day, please use the links under "LTD" on the toolbar or the links in the schedule below. |
First, LTD will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. this fall. Besides opening remarks -- when the entire body of RHA comes together for important information -- LTD will consist of four parts: positional sessions, breakout sessions, lunch, and council time. Positional sessions will consist of all members that share the same position, where they will learn how to operate in their role. Breakout sessions are general educational sessions in which you are allowed to choose what you will go to (NOTE: Senators must go to Emergency Senate during breakout sessions). There will be a 5-minute transition period between online activities, and after breakout sessions, there will be a 30-minute transition period. During this 30 minutes, we ask all RHA members to meet at the Cambridge Community Center (CCC) on North Campus where lunch will be provided. After lunch, we will go into council time, which will be facilitated by a member of the Executive Team and will be the time councils get to meet each other.
